After being sent in this morning, Queensland batted well for a score of 8/293 from their 50 overs. Mikayla Wrigley and Lucy Bourke scored 88 and 85 respectively, whilst Maisy Gibson was the pick of the bowlers for Tasmania with 2/42. Tasmania started the run chase well, led by 48 from Rachel Trenaman, but then lost regular wickets over the course of the innings, never giving themselves a chance. Sianna Ginger took 3/37 for Queensland, whilst Nicola Hancock earnt Player of the Match honours for her 1/40 following on from an explosive 39 not out in their batting innings. Queensland remain undefeated in this competition, whilst Tasmania will look to turn things around in the same fixture in two days time.
