The West Indies bowlers gave it their all, using all their skills and experience, but nothing seemed to click as they failed to break this stubborn partnership for much of the day. However, in the final moments, New Zealand finally lost their first wicket, giving the Windies a breakthrough late in the session through Kemar Roach.
