Emma Mainx-Geeves and Lauren Kua set their innings up with a big partnership. It was then late fireworks from Claire Moore 18 off 11 and Maitlan Brown 18 off 7 to lift them up to 170 runs. Maitlan Brown earned player of the match for her great innings and a fantastic bowling display that saw her take 3 for 24 off her 4 overs including a wicket maiden to start. Sydney Thunder managed to get 6 for 146, thanks to superb partnership from Anika Learoyd and Olivia Maxwell but unfortunately was not enough to get them over the line.
